I’ve loved looking at the work of other photographers for as long as I can remember, and it inspired me to start taking photos for myself. What began as a hobby became something much bigger after the birth of my son. That was the turning point. Watching him grow and change day by day made me realise just how fleeting everything is. The way he stands. The way he looks at something. The tiny expressions that disappear as quickly as they arrive. I didn’t want to forget any of it.

I’m not trying to create perfect images. I’m trying to hold onto time.

Every adventure, every giggle, even every tantrum — I want to keep those small pieces before they fade. Photography became my way of pressing pause. Of staying present. Of finding meaning in ordinary moments. What I found was more than memories — it was happiness. Capturing these moments became something personal and grounding, and now it’s something I want to share with other families.

My style is simple: natural, unposed, and real. I love the funny moments, the quiet hugs, the messy play, the small details that show who you truly are. Nothing forced. Nothing staged. Just your family, as you are.

a little bit about me

Hi, I’m Trayana—though most people just call me T. Originally from Bulgaria, I’ve been in the UK for nearly 15 years. Yes, I moan about the weather… but really, who doesn’t?

I’m also the proud (or should I say brave) owner of Stitch, a feisty miniature dappled dachshund. He’s small, stubborn, and believes he can take on the world (and any motorbike that dares to pass our street). He’s chaos wrapped in fur, but we wouldn’t have him any other way.

By day, I’m a full-time web designer working alongside my husband, Sam. We love the creativity our job gives us… the sitting down all day, not so much. That’s why weekends are for adventures.
